The situation.
Lack of movement in children is a known problem — solutions that actually appeal to the target group are rare. They track too much, motivate too little and often don’t work in family life.
The brief: an app that children want to use — and that’s transparent and safe for parents.
What we built.
We built the step app for iOS and Android: a kid-friendly interface, gamification focused clearly on movement, no social features that aren’t age-appropriate.
The parent view shows progress in a privacy-friendly way. The app thrives on small daily impulses — not leaderboard stress.
