The situation.
VIACTIV wanted to make movement and active health tangible for a broad audience. Generic recommendations didn’t work — personal relevance was the lever.
The brief: a digital tool that recommends a sport that actually fits — and that also works as a campaign asset.
What we built.
We built the Activ-o-mat: a web-based configurator that captures preferences, constraints and goals through a short, playful set of questions — and derives matching sport recommendations.
Behind the playful surface sits a structured matching logic and a content system VIACTIV uses to update sports, questions and content over time.
The tool was the central anchor of a nationwide health campaign and brought movement topics noticeably closer to members.
