The situation.
IKK classic wanted to reach apprentices on health topics where they already are — on their phone. Classic leaflets and websites barely reached the target group.
The brief: a format that frames health as an everyday topic without being preachy — and a platform that stays editorially usable over time.
What we built.
We built #missionmacher: a native app (iOS & Android) that presents health topics as "missions" — short, activating challenges around movement, nutrition, mental health and prevention.
Behind it: a content management system IKK uses to publish new missions, quizzes and content themselves. Gamification (points, streaks, achievements) keeps the audience active over time.
Apprentice-friendly visual language, short interactions, and tight coordination with IKK’s prevention experts have turned the format into a fixture in apprentice communications.
