The situation.
Planners and fitters used to look up insulation thicknesses in reference books and standards — cumbersome, error-prone, not fit for the site.
Armacell wanted to translate its technical expertise into a tool that works on the site — even without internet.
What we built.
We built a native app (iOS & Android) that integrates the relevant standards and product data. Users enter parameters, the app returns the correct insulation thickness with the matching Armacell product.
Offline-capable, multilingual, with regular content updates for new standards and products. Today the app is a standard tool in Armacell sales and installation work across 20+ countries.
