We developed an AR filter app for Volkswagen AG as part of the “Rally the World Roadshow”. Visitors were able to take photos and videos with immersive effects and share them directly on social networks. The result: entertainment, brand loyalty and social noise in real time.

Headquartered in Wolfsburg, Volkswagen is one of the largest car manufacturers in the world. In addition to vehicles, VW focuses on innovative digital experiences in marketing. The aim was to actively involve trade fair visitors and achieve reach in social networks with augmented reality content.

UX & UI Design

We developed a hybrid app that runs on Windows, Android and iOS. This ensured maximum reach and flexibility.

Augmented reality integration

Photos and videos were supplemented with predefined AR objects. Users could choose from various scenarios and thus customize their clips.
