Interactive mirrors for viral marketing in the store
We developed SneakerCam and CapCam for Snipes SE – digital mirrors that take photos from unusual angles and share them immediately on social media. This turns customers into content creators, the store into a stage and the Snipes brand into a topic of conversation in the networks.
About the customer
Snipes SE – leading streetwear retailer in Europe
Snipes is the leading streetwear company in the DACH region and operates over 700 stores worldwide. With the conversion of the flagship store in Cologne, Snipes was looking for innovative solutions that combine the stationary shopping experience, social media and digital marketing. The aim was to get customers more involved, intensify the brand experience and achieve viral reach.
Challenge / Problem
Digital approach in the store
Snipes wanted to address customers directly at the point of sale (POS) using innovative, digital tools.
Viral marketing through user content
The aim was to generate authentic content from customers and organically increase the brand’s reach.

UX & UI Design
A touch interface makes it possible to take photos intuitively, save them or share them directly on social media.
App & Software Development
We developed an application for SneakerCam and CapCam that combines camera, touch display and computer – an intelligent digital mirror.
Social media integration
Customers can voluntarily upload photos directly to social networks or transfer them to their smartphone using a QR code.
Rollout in the stores
The solution has been installed in over 120 stores in six countries – as an integral part of the digital shopping experience.
